- NY/NJ Trail Conference
- A MUST OGRANIZATION TO CHECK OUT!! Chuck full of information for hikers in the tri-state
area. We will not attempt to duplicate information. This organization is the congress of
all local hiking clubs. They manage the maintaince and creation of the local trail
networks in this area. They also lead the fight to protect hiking areas of developement
and to expand the trail network. The NY/NJ Trail conference publishes a bi-monthly
newspaper called "The Trail Walker". You will find a sample listing of many of
the local hikes from the member clubs. PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING THE NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY
TRAIL CONFERENCE. Their webite will give you all the particulars.
